Election to Council of one Academic Staff Member

Council Election 2025 - Academic Staff (Faculties Member) – Casual Vacancy

On Monday 11 August the University Secretary received a resignation from Dr Francis Markham, who is one of two academic staff members on СÀ¶ÊÓƵ Council. To fill this position, the Returning Officer will run an election for a casual vacancy, until the term ends on 29 September 2026.

Following a call for nominations to elect one casual member of the Academic staff of the University to the СÀ¶ÊÓƵ Council, seven (7) nominations were received. As more than one (1) nomination has been received, an online ballot will be held.

The nominated candidates are:

- Dr Romain Fathi

- Professor Rohan Pitchford
